Henry Parkman

After 37 years, Henry continues to resolve difficult construction industry and land use disputes. 

His practice primarily focuses on the many environmental and construction issues that arise from the planning, design, and building of projects of many different types. Henry’s extensive experience also includes the resolution of land use controversies, including real estate ownership disputes.

He tries cases before judges, juries, and arbitrators, and successfully conducts mediations on a variety of construction projects and disputed property issues, as well as on other commercial disputes. Henry has also successfully handled numerous appeals in state and federal appellate courts.

  • Achieved a favorable settlement for one of world's largest permanent wholesale trade centers in litigation involving a waterproofing contractor’s claim for payment and the client’s counterclaim for collateral damage to building sky bridges.
  • Represented an Atlanta-based commercial real estate private equity firm in high-stakes litigation regarding zoning and denial of sewer capacity issues in Oconee County, Georgia.
  • Named to The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of construction law (2007-2011, 2016-2024) and litigation – construction (2012-2024)
