Josh counsels clients across a broad spectrum of technological areas, including wireless communications, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

Josh helps clients to identify patentable ideas, and to assess patent infringement, patent validity (Section 101 Alice issues) and freedom to operate. Josh also is a member of the Global Sports Practice, where he focuses on communications networks and infrastructure.

Josh is active in pro bono representation for the Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA), and is an alumni representative for Northwestern University’s Alumni Admission Council.

Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Josh served as an associate at a law firm in Washington DC. Prior to his legal career, Josh worked in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries as an engineer and as a regulatory affairs professional.

Josh is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar Association and the US Patent and Trademark Office. His work is supervised by State Bar of Texas members.

Josh is an active attorney of the Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA), which provides pro bono intellectual property legal services.
