Stacey Mohr

Stacey litigates complex business disputes, civil rights and constitutional cases, education funding matters, and employment disputes.  

She has extensive experience in consumer and policyholder class actions. She represents clients engaged in commercial arbitrations and in litigation in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.

Stacey also counsels companies on a variety of matters, including employment issues and open-government compliance, and advises private and public schools on a range of education issues.

  • Won dismissal of lawsuits by distribution cooperatives against two electric generation and transmission cooperatives seeking early termination of wholesale power contracts and withdrawal from membership.
  • Lead counsel for the Florida Senate, House of Representatives and State Board of Education in a constitutional challenge to Florida's $19 billion K-12 public school funding system. After a four-week trial, the court entered judgment in favor of the State. Affirmed by the Florida Supreme Court after ten years of litigation
  • Represents and defends a group of underwriters in a putative class action brought on behalf of purchasers of preferred shares in a failed energy company.
