Basic Commercial Leases in Georgia, a seminar presented by Lorman Education Services, will be held on February 4, 2005, at the Georgia Society of CPAs at the Atlanta Financial Center. The seminar will cover the components of a commercial lease, including basic elements to include, definitions of terms, how to draft the lease in order to avoid disputes later on, and when to get a real estate broker involved.

Peg McCue and Jennifer Van Ness, attorneys in Sutherland's Real Estate group, are members of the four-person faculty and will lead sessions on general commercial leasing principles, including "Avoiding Lease Pitfalls Through Careful Drafting," "Commercial Leasing/Real Estate Brokers," and "Ethical Issues Arising In Commercial Leasing."
