Council on State Taxation 41st Annual Meeting

Sutherland Attorneys Jeffrey A. Friedman, Stephen P. Kranz and Diann L. Smith are speaking at the Council on State Taxation 41st Annual Meeting, October 19-22, 2010, in Phoenix, Arizona. Jeff is part of a panel on "Attributional Nexus Developments for State Income, Sales/Use and Gross Receipts Taxes – Reconciling Bellas Hess and Quill with Scripto and Tyler Pipe." Steve will present "Contingent Fee and Contract Audits: Addressing a Troubling Trend." Diann is a member of a panel that will discuss "Emerging Issues Associated with Abandoned & Unclaimed Property: It’s Not a Tax, But You Own the Audit."

This annual meeting presents an extensive program covering all types of state and local taxes that business taxpayers are confronted with today, including property taxes, tax policy issues and unclaimed property.
