Interstate Tax Corporation’s Interstate Tax Planning Conference

Sutherland Partner Jeffrey A. Friedman is speaking at the Interstate Tax Corporation’s Interstate Tax Planning Conference on June 21, 2010, in New York, New York. Jeff’s presentation is entitled "Jurisdiction & Nexus." In addition to other topics, he will discuss the Constitutional limitations on state powers to tax interstate business, protected solicitation and de minimis activities under Public Law 86-272, the consequences of selling over the Internet, and attributional nexus.

This conference will examine the concepts, problems and planning opportunities involved primarily with state income taxation of multistate business.
