SSTA Implementation: Top to Bottom

Sutherland Attorney Charles C. Kearns is speaking at the IPT Advanced Sales and Use Tax Academy, November 8-11, 2010, in Miami Florida. Charlie’s presentation entitled "SSTA Implementation: Top to Bottom" will focus on strategies for dealing with member states versus non-member states and understanding the impact of registration and amnesty under SSTA, as well as the impact of new states joining the SSTA. Charlie will also be presenting "Digital Goods." This session will discuss the definitions of digital goods and digital services, software as a "services" and nexus issues.

This advanced program’s overall theme is "Challenges in a Recovering (Changing) Economy." The program features key individuals from the corporate, governmental, and consulting sectors, and will focus on anticipated tax issues.
