Public Charities in Georgia Seminar

Four Sutherland attorneys will speak at the Public Charities in Georgia seminar, presented by Lorman Educational Services, on January 25, 2005, in Atlanta.

Rob Neis will discuss Employee Benefits in his session and cover Code Section 403(b) and 401(k) plans, Code Section 457 plans, and employer aggregation rules. Matt Nichols will speak on Tax-Exempt Financing in Georgia. His session topics will include project eligibility, credit ratings and credit enhancement, secondary market disclosure, and new financing techniques. Jim Johnson will cover trademarks, copyrights, and related issues in his presentation, What Every Charity Should Know About Intellectual Property. Amy Dosik will speak on Current Developments and Challenges for Nonprofit Organizations and discuss Sarbanes-Oxley topics, nonprofit executive compensation, and terrorist financing.

All four will also participate in general discussion sessions between audience and panel members.
