Rocky Mountain Tax Seminar

August 31, 2010-September 2, 2010

Sutherland Partner James K. Hasson Jr. is speaking at the Rocky Mountain Tax Seminar on August 31 - September 2, 2010, at the Penrose House Conference Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. James will give two presentations entitled "Recommendations for Addressing Recurrent Self-Dealing Issues" and "Estate Taxes, Donor Advised Funds and Supporting Organizations: Are Private Foundations Becoming Obsolete?" He will also contribute to the panel discussions "Tax Law 101 - The Basic Rules for Private Foundations" and "Tax Law 102 - Tax Exemption and Unrelated Business Income Tax for Charities."

The Rocky Mountain Tax Seminar is designed to update and inform managers and trustees of private foundations about the ever-changing tax laws that affect private foundations and to encourage dialogue about practical problems foundation managers face in the day-to-day management of their foundations.
