FERC yesterday dismissed a complaint filed by some opponents of NorthernStar Natural Gas’ proposed Bradwood Landing LNG terminal. The complaint allegeed that FERC staff violated ex parte rules by attending a December 14, 2006 meeting to discuss environmental issues surrounding the project. The agency determined that FERC staff properly followed regulations that allow off-the-record communications provided that a summary of the communications is made publicly available.
