On December 9, 2008, Freeport LNG Development, L.P., filed an application requesting that FERC amend its authorization to construct and operate the Freeport LNG terminal to allow the terminal to bring in domestic LNG supplies via truck in order to maintain a proper cryogenic state for the facility’s LNG storage tanks. Comments on this proposal are due January 6, 2009, and the application and supporting materials are available in FERC’s eLibrary under Docket No. CP03-75.
