Michael Day, Sr., president of the Baltimore County Professional Fire Fighters Association, told the Baltimore Sun this week that he believes that while Sparrows Point LNG has not received complete regulatory approval, county officials should still discuss emergency response plans with project developers. “If there’s a one percent chance of this happening, [county firefighters] deserve to be, and should be, 100 percent prepared,” Day said.
