The Patriot Ledger (Quincy, Mass.) reports that the Neptune LNG deepwater port, currently under development by Suez LNG, will not be subject to Massachusetts’ recently enacted Oceans Act, because the project is proposed for federal waters. The Oceans Act will create a comprehensive state ocean management plan that will govern all development within 3 miles of the Massachusetts coast.
