Canada’s National Energy Board convened a hearing last Thursday evening on Repsol’s application for an import-export license for the Canaport LNG terminal. According to the Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick, Canada), one of ten locals in attendance complained that the license was a “done deal,” considering the Canaport LNG facilities and associated pipeline are already under construction. Another resident complained of inadequate notice for the meeting.
