The Daily Astorian reports that a number of local residents voiced their discontent with the short notice provided by the Port of Astoria Commission prior to a meeting held last Friday afternoon. The meeting, which was announced at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, resulted in a 4-0 vote to extend a lease for the property that will be sublet to Oregon LNG for the company’s regasification terminal.
