Speaking yesterday at an event in San Antonio, Texas, Bill Wince of Chesapeake Energy said that his company believes strongly that American shale gas plays offer enough gas supplies to support LNG exports from the United States. Separately, an industry analyst with Societe Generale issued a research note questioning the timeline for first LNG exports from the Sabine Pass LNG facility and suggesting that the $4 billion investment to install LNG liquefaction equipment may be too low. Read more in Platts.
