Governor Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) said during his “State of the State” address last week that Hawaii should consider including natural gas as part of the state’s energy future. Since Hawaii does not have any significant natural gas resources, any natural gas used by the state for electricity generation would have to be imported as LNG. Read more in the Honolulu Civil Beat.
