ATLANTA (May 2, 2001) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Kenneth F. Antley has recently been elected to the Board of Directors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce is made up of nearly 130 members dedicated to expanding metro Atlanta's already thriving economy, and improving its quality of life and business. Kent will join other leaders of Atlanta's top businesses, universities and non-profit organizations who serve on the Chamber's Board of Directors.
Kent was instrumental in founding, and is a former Director of, the Technology Association of Georgia, is a member of the Executive Committee of the Georgia Technology Forum and is a past President of the Business and Technology Alliance. He is also a former member of the Steering Committee of the Atlanta Chamber's "Industries of the Mind" initiative. Kent represents many technology-related companies with regard to company structure and formation, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, confidentiality agreements, employment agreements, strategic partnerships, venture capital investment, private placement of securities, commercial bank loans and technology protection. He has extensive experience in licensing technology and software, both for licensors and licensees and advising clients concerning procedures to protect trade secrets.
