“By focusing on enhancing and expanding services for clients in core practices and industries, including financial services and energy, Sutherland has created a litigation boutique client experience with the back-up of large law firm resources," said Mr. Owen. “This client focus is demonstrated by the firm’s new project management tools, e-discovery solutions, and the use of contract lawyers in litigation. I am excited to join this team which is continuing to raise the bar when it comes to serving clients."

Mr. Owen’s casework spans antitrust, securities, and corporate governance issues, including class action, shareholder derivative action, and mergers and acquisitions disputes.
