WASHINGTON (February 21, 2006) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan served as counsel to Global Logistics Acquisition Corporation (AMEX: GLA-U) in its initial public offering of 10,000,000 units, which closed on February 21,2006.
Global Logistics Acquisition Corporation is a special purpose acquisition corporation, or SPAC, designed to serve as a vehicle for the acquisition of one or more operating businesses in the transportation and logistics sector, and related industries. The company raised gross proceeds of $80 million, at an offering price of $8 per unit, in the offering. Each unit consists of one share of common stock and one warrant to purchase an additional share of common stock.
