Sutherland Earns Top Chambers USA 2010 Rankings

ATLANTA and WASHINGTON (July 7, 2010) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP announces that 17 practices and 46 attorneys from the firm earned rankings in 2010 from Chambers and Partners, a highly regarded legal research organization, which conducts more than 10,000 national peer and client interviews to create objective rankings based on legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial awareness, diligence, and commitment.

Managing Partner Mark D. Wasserman said, “Our Chambers USA rankings continue to rise each year, which emphasizes the talent of our attorneys and the high level of client service we deliver."

The firm received national rankings in Energy: Electricity: Regulatory & Litigation; Energy: Oil & Gas: Regulatory & Litigation; Insurance: Transactional & Regulatory; Investment Funds: Registered Funds; Outsourcing; Tax: Controversy; and Tax: Corporate & Finance. Sutherland earned number one rankings in Construction, Energy, and Tax practice areas in Georgia. In addition, the following attorneys received individual number one rankings in their respective practice areas:  Alfred G. Adams Jr., N. Jerold Cohen, Lee C. Davis, Jennifer W. Fletcher, James B. Jordan, and F. Barry McCabe.
