The following attorneys have been elected partner:
Keith J. Barnett is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and focuses his practice in the area of business litigation and securities enforcement, representing companies and individuals against the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Institution Regulatory Authority, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and other companies and individuals.
Marc A. Rawls is a member of the Corporate Practice Group and devotes his practice to the areas of corporate mergers and acquisitions, securities issues including public and private offerings, and general corporate matters.
Stephen P. Kranz is a member of the State and Local Tax Practice Group, where he focuses on state tax controversy and tax policy matters.
Ling Ling is a member of the Corporate Practice Group, where she focuses on corporate mergers and acquisitions involving financial services companies.
David A. Roby, Jr., is a member of the Tax Practice Group and provides advice to clients on a wide variety of complex federal tax matters with a particular emphasis on partnership, corporate and investment company tax issues.
Richard T. (Tom) Stilwell is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on energy-related matters; he also engages in a significant domestic and international arbitration practice.

David M. Cayce is a member of the Corporate Practice Group and practices in the areas of corporate mergers and acquisitions, nuclear energy transactions, power plant construction and procurement, private equity finance, and general corporate matters.
Valerie Strong Sanders is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and focuses on consumer and insurance class actions, including fair-lending cases; she also is experienced in commercial and bankruptcy litigation at the trial and appellate levels.
Amanda Ferguson Wilson is a member of the Tax Practice Group and has experience in a wide variety of federal tax matters, particularly in the areas of partnership and international tax. Her experience also includes both corporate planning and tax controversy work.
Michele Borens is a member of the State and Local Tax Practice Group and has experience assisting clients with a multitude of state and local tax issues and working extensively in all areas of multistate tax planning, research, controversy and tax matters.
Susan G. Lafferty, a member of the Energy and Environmental Practice Group, focuses on energy and climate change policy and regulatory issues, as well as environmental matters related to commercial trading of petroleum and renewable products.
David E. Weslow is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group and focuses his practice on litigation, prosecution, counseling and licensing of trademarks, copyrights, and domain names, as well as related intellectual property and new media matters.
James E. Guy is a member of the Energy and Environmental Practice Group and focuses his practice on energy law, public utility regulatory law, environmental law, litigation, and administrative law, with particular emphasis on representing clients before the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the Railroad Commission of Texas.
