Sutherland Elects Two New Executive Committee Members

ATLANTA and WASHINGTON (May 31, 2006) – Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP announces the election of Jacob Dweck and Daniel J. Warren to a three-year term on the Executive Committee, the firm's governing body.

Mr. Dweck practices with the Energy group in the firm's Washington office.  His practice offers clients solutions and strategies that integrate extensive experience in energy transactions and commercial matters, regulatory and policy proceedings, and all aspects related to dispute resolution. 

Mr. Warren practices with the Intellectual Property group in the firm's Atlanta office.  His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications.  Mr. Warren litigates in all areas of intellectual property, including patent, trademark, trade dress and copyright litigation, including litigation concerning medical instruments, athletic equipment, computer software, camouflage and digital piracy.

John H. Fleming and Keith R. McCrea will step down from the Executive Committee after 3 years of service.  Managing Partner Mark D. Wasserman thanked Mr. Fleming and Mr. McCrea for the many contributions they have made over the past three years and noted that the firm has continued to have great success as a result of their leadership.
