ATLANTA (May 7, 2010) – Marsha A. Ward, Counsel in Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group, has been elected by the Atlanta Community ToolBank to serve as Vice President of Capital Development.
“I am honored to accept this position and look forward to working with this organization," said Ms. Ward. “The Atlanta Community ToolBank empowers volunteers to transform ideas into action. Our partnership model enables hundreds of charitable groups to repair their own facilities, clean neighborhoods, improve parks, build playgrounds and much more. The fact that all of this is accomplished while also allowing these organizations to save limited funds for use in their own core mission is really quite remarkable."
Ms. Ward focuses her practice on regulatory and renewable energy matters. She has more than 20 years of public utility law experience involving natural gas, telecommunications and electric utilities. She has appeared before state regulators in more than two dozen states and has extensive experience in the Southeast.
