Angelica Li is an associate in Eversheds Sutherland's Global Energy Practice Group, advising clients on a wide range of energy matters as well as environmental regulation, compliance, and transactional risk management.
She counsels energy firms on regulatory requirements, commodities trading, and purchase agreements, as well as regulatory developments in other countries. Her experience includes advising clients on transactional and litigation matters regarding complex issues involving CERCLA remediation and cost recovery claims, CWA, state level enforcement actions, power plants, and federal and state permitting requirements.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Angelica was an associate in the environmental practice of a New England law firm and clerked for the District of Columbia Superior Court. During law school, she interned at the US Department of Labor's Division of Occupational Safety and Health and the US Environmental Protection Agency.
