Ben advises clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution, representing clients nationwide in a variety of business law matters.
These matters include class actions, contract disputes, various business torts, products liability, and regulatory compliance. Ben’s litigation practice covers the lifecycle of a commercial dispute, including pre-suit negotiations, discovery, motion practice, trial, post-judgment enforcement, appeals and alternative dispute resolution.
Ben’s practice includes a focus on higher education, where he advises postsecondary educational institutions on compliance matters arising out of federal and state accrediting agency oversight and regulation, including with respect to institutional participation in the Title IV federal student aid program. Ben also advises education clients in regard to their corporate compliance programs and on regulatory and transactional issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, sales, and investments in educational institutions.

- Served on the core litigation team representing the individual sellers of a national staffing company in a dispute arising from representations and warranties made in the company’s sale.
- Represented corporations in various garnishment and related employment matters.
- Represented corporate landlords in disputes over commercial leases and in dispossessory proceedings against commercial tenants.
- Represented a medical practice in a contractual dispute involving a medical testing vendor.
