Jeremy Spier counsels clients on intellectual property (IP) law, including international and domestic IP rights. Jeremy primarily focuses on patent and trademark procurement. In addition, he counsels clients on patent portfolio management and prepares patentability, validity, infringement and product clearance opinions. He also has substantial experience in preparing IP licensing agreements and conducting IP audits and due diligence in corporate transactions.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland (US) as an associate, Jeremy served as an IP attorney in Florida, where he prepared and prosecuted patent, trademark and copyright applications. His technological experience includes software, medical devices, mechanical systems and consumer products. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
