Lisa Morgan practices in all areas of corporate and securities law. She regularly advises clients on compliance issues related to the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. A member of Eversheds Sutherland (US)'s Corporate Practice Group, Lisa helps bring small private companies public and then navigates the subsequent regulatory and compliance issues they may encounter. Lisa has represented clients in connection with corporate transactional matters including initial public offerings, public and private equity and debt offerings, the formation and operation of public and private funds, and mergers and acquisitions. Lisa has extensive experience advising clients in connection with the formation and regulation of business development companies and small business investment companies.
Lisa regularly counsels public companies in a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including corporate governance, disclosure, executive compensation and compliance with the corporate governance listing standards of the New York Stock Exchange and The NASDAQ Stock Market.
Lisa has taught seminars on corporate governance for the International Law Institute in connection with Georgetown University.
