Mike Shea has long counseled government contractors in alternative dispute resolution proceedings and proceedings before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and other federal, state and local courts. A long-time member of Eversheds Sutherland (US)'s Litigation Practice Group, Mike also represents clients before agency boards of contract appeals, the General Accounting Office, the Small Business Administration and other federal, state and local offices.

With more than 30 years of experience in Government Contracts, Mike has successfully represented major corporations in highly contested disputes arising under contracts with the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense (including disputes with the Departments of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Defense Logistics Agency), Energy, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, State, Transportation and the Treasury; the General Services Administration; the National Aeronautical and Space Administration; the Small Business Administration; the Tennessee Valley Authority; the Veterans Administration and the U.S. Postal Service.
