Alex counsels lenders and borrowers on a variety of secured and unsecured commercial lending and structured finance transactions.
He represents commercial lenders and borrowers in various matters, including senior, second lien and subordinated financings, workouts and restructurings, leveraged acquisition financings, accounts receivable financings, securitizations, loan syndications and participations, and project financings.
His experience includes transactions in the telecommunications, timber/agribusiness, energy and financial services industries, among others.
- Represented CoBank, ACB as lead arranger and administrative agent in connection with $600 million in credit facilities secured by timberlands in 7 states and various JV-related equity interests.
- Represented private equity firm as borrower’s counsel in connection with $75 million subscription credit facility with US financial institution.
- Represented private equity firm as borrower’s counsel in connection with $45 million subscription credit facility with US financial institution.
- Represented private equity firm as borrower’s counsel in connection with $75 million subscription credit facility with US financial institution.
- Represented a sponsor in a back leverage-financed acquisition of a portfolio of energy projects.
