Robert Christoffel focuses on US federal income taxation, with particular emphasis on structuring and negotiating taxable and tax-free corporate acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs, dispositions of ongoing business enterprises, structuring of investments by private equity funds into domestic and foreign portfolio companies and structuring, advising and managing the closing of investment funds.
Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Robert worked at an international law firm where he assisted with drafting and negotiating tax provisions in share and asset purchase, credit and tax receivables agreements in mergers and acquisitions deals and other corporate transactions.
