Rob Swartwood advises public and privately-held companies in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, strategic partnerships, entity structure and taxation, securities, governance, contracting, licensing and pre-litigation dispute resolution. He represents strategic acquirers, equity firms and investment funds, high net-worth families and other multi-generational concerns, and high-capacity start-ups, in the manufacturing, distribution, financial and technology sectors, among others.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland (US), Rob served as an associate with a law firm in Atlanta. Before becoming an attorney, Rob was an Infantry Officer in the United States Army and served in Afghanistan and Iraq where he received two Bronze Star Medals for his combat service.
